The villages in the hinterland of Senigallia, as well as in many other areas of Marche, have a typically medieval architecture, which means that neighboring municipalities rise mainly around a city wall, a fortress or a typical village of the time.
This conformation makes some small towns aesthetically very characteristic, so much so that they choose to associate their traditions with the traditions of the past, frequently re-proposing them in the form of festivals and popular anniversaries.
