Morro d’Alba

The small center dates back to the year 1000 and the Castle retains high fifteenth-century walls with towers. The walkway with large arches, perhaps the unique example in Italy, is perfectly preserved and bears the odd name of Shoe Road.
The small town gives its name to the renowned wine produced here, “Lacrima di Morro d’Alba”.
