Rosso Conero is produced in limited quantities in the Conero natural park, which overlooks a splendid steep stretch of coast.
It is mostly obtained from pure Montepulciano grapes, but it can tolerate an addition of Sangiovese grapes not exceeding 15%.
Known worldwide for its impeccable qualities, Rosso Conero is a vigorous, full-bodied wine with a deep red color, an intense aroma, a dry and slightly tannic flavor. It has a minimum alcohol content of 11.5°.
Today it is suitably vinified with greater aging, also in the DOCG Riserva version.
