As a proof of its great love for music, Senigallia has the State Conservatory Bettino Padovano and keeps its passion alive with many musical initiatives and shows.

Every year, the City of Senigallia International Piano Competition hosts Italian and international artists who perform in concerts and solos open to the public.

The European Music Festival opens the summer with great events (for more info, see Great Spring Summer Events).

For young beginners, the music tournament Scorribande promotes new talents at each edition.

Among local, yet internationally known protagonists is outstanding saxophonist and conductor Federico Mondelci, an artist capable of re-proposing tradition in a new, original, unusual and never repetitive artistic form and who boasts musical performances all over the world, alongside the greatest musicians of the time such as Astor Piazzolla.

Looking to a more distant era, we should note the great artist, musician and singer Beniamino Gigli from Recanati.
Even closer to the present days (and our origins), artists of the youth music scene such as Fabri Fibra together with numerous promising Senigallia bands and DJs are worth mentioning.
