Senigallia is a town that lends itself well to cycling thanks to the numerous cycle paths that draw safe routes for children too. For those who are a little more experienced, here are some classics:
– Cycling along the Misa river you get to the hamlet of Brugnetto and continuing to the right you will find Castel Colonna. On the Roncitelli-Monterado provincial road towards the Cesano area there are interesting observation points.
– From the Senigallia stadium, take the busy Via Cellini for a short stretch; at the crossroads on the left, cross the bridge over the highway and cycle up leaving a magnificent view of the coast behind. After the climb and turning right on the steep road of the Marine, you will return to the peripheral area of Cesanella and then turn right again back to via Cellini.
– Following the Cesano road, after Monterado continue to Castelleone di Suasa, to discover a striking archaeological area.
